To support the expansion of the online platform, academic leadership hires remote, part-time faculty to fill instructional positions. Comprehending the critical role online adjunct faculty play in higher education, academic leaders must embrace the changes occurring in higher education and learn how to support online, part-time faculty. There appears to be a particular gap in the literature that rests on not knowing specific leadership strategies to aid with the participation of online adjunct faculty.
